About the role
As a Corporate Analyst, you will be part of a team of four colleagues working exclusively with financial institutions, closely collaborating with the team in Oslo and relevant product specialists. Your role involves performing a variety of financial calculations, evaluating customers’ business models from an industry perspective, and conducting financial modeling to assess their payment capabilities.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Evaluating new business opportunities within the financial institutions sector, including financial analysis, credit risk assessment, credit rating, and industry analysis.
- Monitoring and following up with existing customers and managing other related ad hoc tasks.
- Working closely with Client Managers to ensure successful credit processes and financing solutions. • Writing high-quality credit memoranda to support decision-making.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent, along with 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
You are currently working in a similar role or have experience with credit-related tasks such as credit analysis, credit assessment, or lending.
Alternatively, you may have a background in asset management, working with financial institutions and possessing a good understanding of key figures, balance sheet analysis, and financial reporting.
To succeed in this role, strong communication and collaboration skills are required, along with fluency in both English and a Scandinavian language. You should have an interest in developing industry knowledge and the ability to take initiative and work independently with high integrity. A structured and methodical work style is important, as is the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure timely deliveries. Furthermore, a proactive approach is valued, where you can identify improvement opportunities and have experience working in teams and handling various stakeholders.
